By approving a proposal, paying an invoice, or engaging Barker Studio for services, you agree to these Terms.

Barker Studio provides services including, but not limited to:

Digital integrations and automation
All work completed will be based on the agreed proposal, package, or written scope of work.

Project management platforms
You agree to provide timely feedback, approvals, and required materials throughout the project.
Project Timelines
Estimated timelines are provided as guidance only and may vary depending on:

Client responsiveness

Delays in receiving content or approvals

Third-party service delays
-
Requested revisions or scope changes
Barker Studio is not responsible for project delays caused by missing content, delayed communication, or external providers.
Client Responsibilities
You agree to:

Provide accurate information and content

Ensure you have rights to any materials supplied

Respond to requests within a reasonable timeframe

Review and approve work promptly
You are responsible for the legality and accuracy of all content supplied to Barker Studio.
Payments
Deposits
Projects may require a non-refundable deposit before work begins.
Final Payment
Final payment must be made before:

Transfer of ownership/files

Delivery of final assets
Late Payments
Late payments may result in:

Delayed delivery

Temporary suspension of work

Additional fees where applicable
Barker Studio reserves the right to withhold delivery of work until outstanding balances are cleared.
Revisions & Scope Changes
Reasonable revisions are included where stated in your proposal or package.
Additional revisions or requests outside the agreed project scope may incur extra charges.
Any significant changes requested after approval may require a revised timeline and quotation.
Website Hosting & Third-Party Services
If your project uses third-party platforms, plugins, software, hosting providers, or integrations, Barker Studio is not liable for outages, downtime, pricing changes, or technical issues caused by those third parties.
We will provide reasonable support where possible but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service from external providers.
Intellectual Property
Upon full payment, you will own the final approved website design and agreed deliverables created specifically for your project.
Barker Studio retains the right to:

Display completed work in portfolios and marketing

Reuse non-exclusive design frameworks, code structures, or processes

Retain ownership of internal tools and systems
You confirm that any content supplied to Barker Studio does not infringe copyright, trademark, or intellectual property laws.
Cancellations
By the Client
If you cancel a project after work has started:

Deposits are non-refundable

You may be invoiced for work already completed
By Barker Studio
We reserve the right to end a project if:

Communication becomes abusive or inappropriate
-
Payments are repeatedly overdue
-
Required materials are not supplied
-
There is a breach of these Terms
Any completed work up to that point may be invoiced accordingly.
Project Time Out Policy
If a project becomes inactive due to lack of communication, missing content, or delayed approvals for more than 90 days, Barker Studio reserves the right to:

Close the project

Archive project files
-
Require a restart fee before continuing work
No refunds will be provided for inactive or abandoned projects.
Refund Policy
Due to the custom nature of digital services, refunds are generally not provided once work has commenced.
However, Barker Studio will always aim to resolve concerns fairly and professionally.
Any approved refunds will be issued at Barker Studio’s discretion and may account for:

Liability
Barker Studio will not be liable for:

Loss of profits or revenue

Business interruption

Third-party failures

Indirect or consequential damages
You are responsible for maintaining backups of your website content and business data unless a separate maintenance agreement states otherwise.
SEO Performance Disclaimer
While Barker Studio follows best practices for website performance and SEO, we do not guarantee:

Specific Google rankings
-
Traffic increases
-
Sales increases
-
Business growth outcomes
Results depend on many external factors beyond our control.
Acceptable Use
Barker Studio reserves the right to refuse projects involving:

Illegal activity

Hate speech or discrimination
-
Fraudulent services
-
Explicit or harmful content
-
Misleading or deceptive practices
Confidentiality
Any confidential business information shared during a project will be treated respectfully and not intentionally disclosed to third parties unless required by law.
Changes to Terms
Barker Studio may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always apply to future projects and ongoing services.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
