How much does a website cost?

It depends on your needs. A simple brochure-style website might start around £799, while more advanced sites with bookings, e-commerce, or strategy services can range from £999 to £2,000+. After a quick discovery chat, we can provide a clear quote based on your goals.

How long does it take to build a webiste?

Timelines depend on the project’s size and how quickly content is provided. On average:

Simple sites: 2–3 weeks
Advanced or multi-page sites: 3–5 weeks
Redesigns or strategy-based projects: 4–6+ weeks

Our team will always give a timeline estimate at the start and keep you updated along the way.

What information do I need to start a project?

As a baseline, we will need:

A brief about your business.
Any branding assets (logo, colours, fonts).
Website content (or we can help with this).
Access to your domain/hosting if already owned.

We can go through a checklist during your free consultation to keep things smooth. Alternatively, we have a prep package available to purchase.

Do you only work with clients in and around Yorkshire?

Nope! We work with clients across the UK and beyond. Everything can be done remotely via email, calls, and video meetings.

Will my website show up on Google search?

Yes, we include basic SEO setup to help your site appear in search engines. For better rankings, we can advise or connect you with SEO specialists or offer a tailored SEO package.

Will my website be mobile friendly?

Yes - all websites we create are fully responsive, meaning they’ll look great on phones, tablets, and desktops.

Do you provide hosting and domains services?

We don’t host sites directly, but we can help you set up reliable hosting and connect your domain. We'll guide you through the process or do it for you as part of the project.

I already have a website, can you redesign it?

Definitely. We offer redesign packages that focus on improving layout, design, branding, SEO, and user experience - all tailored to where your business is heading next.

Do you complete projects for any type of business?

Yes, however we do not accept projects that promote hate, discrimination, violence, unethical practices, or misleading content. Barker Studio is committed to working with values-aligned clients who make a positive impact.

What is your availability like?

We currently have capacity to take on new projects. Projects are typically booked 2–4 weeks in advance. If your request is urgent or time-sensitive, please mention it in your message and we’ll do our best to accommodate where possible.

I have sent you an enquiry but not received a response?

We aim to respond to all enquiries within 1–2 business days. Responses may take slightly longer during busy periods or holidays, but we always reply to genuine enquiries.

Is my data safe while you work on my project?

Of course, your privacy is our priority. By signing one of our project agreements, you agree to the storage and use of your information for the purpose of completing the agreed objectives. Your data is never shared and is handled in line with GDPR. View our Privacy Policy for full details.

I have started a project but have since changed my mind. What do I do?

If you have changed your mind about working with us, please contact us directly at inf@barkerstudios.co.uk with a clear rationale. One of our team will assess your request and take appropriate action. Please note that you will not be entitled to a refund of any monies paid.

I am not happy with the service that I have received, how do I complain?

We hope this never happens but if you are not satisfied with the quality of your project. Please email us at complaints@barkerstudios.co.uk where one of our team will review your complaint. Please note it may take up to 3 weeks for an outcome. We will always work to resolve any issues fairly and as soon as possible.

I have paid but not received an invoice or receipt, how do I request one?

You can request an invoice for your payment at any time. Please contact us at info@barkerstudios.co.uk and a member of our team will generate this for you.

I want to work at Barker Studio, how do I apply?
